quick recap of my weekend, ladies and gents:
i somehow agreed to hit the town with my brother and we went and met his girlfriend at a local bar. i drank two drinks (that sounds a bit weird...) and then we somehow shimmied our way to the hardrock casino. we managed to find a hookah bar and we strode on in towards the back. my brother looked nervous, as well as his girlfriend... but luckily me and stacy (girlfriend's friend) were the only ones who knew how to even smoke hookah. so we ordered humus and a raspberry lemonade hookah and shared more beers all around.
the beer was average i suppose, the taste reminded me nothing short of alka-seltzer and possibly this water concotion i tried at my house.
we then made our way from the hookah to another club were to pianist attempted to be funny as they made remarks on current world news. by now, i was on my third drink and wasn't nearly tipsy to even enjoy the stupidity of their show. :/
amanda somehow managed to sneak me into murphey's law and that's when i realized how the club life must look like. people were dancing, making out, clinging to walls (maybe to stop the world from spinning), grinding against random strangers, couples talking (rather, shouting) into their ears. the band was playing so loud, my ears had a vague muffled sound to it, almost as if the world was on a soft mute from my mind. during this club, i was offered two more drink and was feeling pretty good at this point. i loosened up fully and started dancing to the music.
it was the kind of thing that i would have never thought i would like to do. the music, the people, the lights... i was amazed at how people can easily come here and be deafened by the loud music and still manage to grind their ways into one another. still, with this came with me stumbling and talking to my brother on my way home about the goo goo dolls and possibly how my art was going.
all in all, it was fun.
oh, forgot to add but.. i'm really into middle eastern stuff now. maybe when i get a chance, i'll explore into the culture of hindus and other things. it hit me like a ton of bricks while i was in that hookah bar. the place was so empty, but those who were there were deffinatly indian. my heart melted at this site of one guy that evening. he was tanned with ink black hair, he had a broad nose that was similar to mine and for the first time i can say that he was amazingly beautiful. i never noticed how attractive someone from there can look. now that i think about it, slumdog millionare had a very attractive lead guy.
i need to get ready, i have to leave in two minutes for school
I HATE MATH CLASS. >_< i just cannot wait for my art appreciation class. the teacher is amazing
